Sudhakar Ramakrishna is CEO of Pulse Secure where he oversees all aspects of business strategy and execution. With nearly 25 years of experience across the cloud, mobility, networking, security and collaboration markets, Sudhakar joined Pulse Secure from Citrix. At Citrix, Sudhakar served as the senior vice president and general manager for the Enterprise and Service Provider Division, where he had profit and loss responsibility for approximately a $2.5 billion portfolio of virtualization, cloud networking, mobile platforms and cloud services solutions. Before Citrix, he was at Polycom and was president of products and services. Sudhakar has also held senior leadership roles at Motorola, 3COM and US Robotics and brings significant experience in strategic planning and execution, organization development, and incubating and scaling new businesses to Pulse Secure. Sudhakar earned his master’s degree in Computer Science from Kansas State, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Sudhakar is a member of the board of directors at Mitel Networks and Tely Labs.
Jeffrey C. Key
Jeffrey Key is senior vice president and CFO of Pulse Secure where he oversees the finance, accounting and legal activities for the company. Jeffrey has more than 20 years of senior executive, boardroom and investment banking experience with a solid background in all aspects of strategy, business acquisition and corporate finance for software technology companies. From 2004 to 2013, he was VP of Strategy and Global Corporate Development at Tekelec, responsible for Tekelec's global merger and acquisition strategy. Before Tekelec, Jeffrey held various positions as a technology investment banker with Bear, Stearns and Jefferies & Co. He currently serves as a director on the board of Atlas Resource Partners (NYSE: ARP) and is a member of their audit committee.
SVP of Strategy and CTO
David is senior vice president of strategy and CTO at Pulse Secure. Previously, he was co-founder and CEO of MobileSpaces, which Pulse Secure acquired in October 2014, where he was responsible for defining the company’s vision and strategy. David brings more than 20 years of experience within the mobility, security and enterprise SaaS industries. Prior to MobileSpaces, David was the vice president of Mobile at McAfee. Before McAfee, David was the president and CTO at Trust Digital, a provider of enterprise mobility management software for government organizations and Global 2000 companies.
VP of Product
Younus Aftab is Vice President of Product at Pulse Secure responsible for product management and engineering. Younus brings over 15 years of experience building operating systems, networking, security and mobility products. He is the co-author of several patents resulting in innovative and high growth products. Previously at Citrix, Younus was responsible for product development for the Mobile Platform Group delivering platform innovations. Before Citrix, Younus was responsible for all product development at Zenprise – a visionary leader in Mobility, leading it through rapid growth and successful acquisition by Citrix. Younus has held several engineering and product development roles at Microsoft and Texas instruments building flagship products in the networking, cloud and operating systems space. Younus earned his BS degree in Computer Science from Louisiana State and an MBA from University of Texas.
VP of Partner Sales
Doug Erickson is vice president of partner sales at Pulse Secure, where he is responsible for the company’s partner strategy and execution. Before Pulse Secure, Doug spent 13 years at Juniper Networks in positions in Channels and Enterprise Sales, most recently as VP, Partner Programs and Development. Before Juniper, he ran North American Channel Marketing for NetScreen Technologies. Doug also has held management positions in product marketing, customer service, inside sales and technical support. Doug serves on CompTIAs Vendor Advisory Council and was named a 2014 CRN Channel Chief.
VP of Human Resources
Melissa Knotts is VP, and Chief Human Resource Officer responsible for people and talent strategies. Melissa is an accomplished human resources executive with a solid track record of success in managing high growth and complex change within the technology industry. She has over 20 years of experience leading and evolving HR teams and models in innovative enterprise software companies such as Citrix, VMware, BEA Systems, BMC, and others. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Human Resource Development from Brigham Young University.
VP of Corporate Development & Planning
Andreas Koch is vice president of corporate development and planning at Pulse Secure. He brings 15 years’ experience in strategy, corporate development and marketing in the mobile, networking, security and digital media space. Previously, he was Senior Director of Strategy at Citrix where he headed up the corporate strategy team and was a member of the company’s portfolio planning and corporate development leadership team. Before that Andreas held senior management positions at Juniper Networks, Ericsson and Verizon Wireless.
VP of Marketing
Phil Montgomery joined Pulse Secure in early 2016 and is responsible for all Pulse Secure Marketing, bringing more than 20 years of industry experience. At Pulse Secure, Montgomery leads Corporate Marketing, as well as Product and Solutions Marketing. Prior to joining Pulse Secure, Montgomery served as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer of Identiv, Inc, where he was responsible for the company’s product strategy and execution. Montgomery also spent three years with VMware running Product Management for their end-user computing group, and seven years with Citrix Systems, launching the Citrix Secure Gateway (CSG) and the rollout of company-wide security marketing strategy. Montgomery graduated from the University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor of Business degree in operations management and end-user computing.

Payum Moussavi is VP of WW Customer Success at Pulse Secure. Previously, he was Director of Customer Service at Juniper Networks for all security products and solutions. Payum brings more than 20 years of experience within network security and customer service. Prior to Juniper, Payum held various positions at VeriSign, Cisco Systems and 3com. Payum is passionate about transforming traditional customer support to proactive customer success.
VP of Direct Sales
Chris is vice president of enterprise and commercial sales at Pulse Secure, with responsibility for driving worldwide revenue and customer success. Before Pulse Secure, he was the Managing Director of Juniper Networks’ worldwide security specialist sales team. In this capacity, he owned the execution of the Company’s go-to-market strategies for its extensive line of network and application security solutions. Prior to his time at Juniper he spent seven years with Cisco Systems in a variety of sales management functions including a stint leading the Security and Mobility sales teams for the U.S. Federal Civilian marketplace.
